WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PROJECT FROM THE PAST AND WHY

Adobe MAX–These projects over the years have always pushed the envelope. This past year was the most ambitious yet. Thirty foot tall spinning periactoids with projection mapping and morphing to fill the surfaces. The collaboration between the WorldStage offices and the clients was at an all time high. The result was stunning to watch. I was impressed at how well everyone worked together during the installation of such a difficult project. The mood was mostly pure calmness. Not to say there wasn’t a tense moment here and there. Also, the NATO Ministers of Defense Meeting. This was a project at the Schriever Air Force Base in Golden Colorado several years ago. We set up a NATO like conference center in a large tent with a viewing room next to it. Inside the office building we did a miniature version. We were on site for over three weeks for a one day event. the security process and clearances were nothing like I’ve ever seen or had to deal with. We ran so much wire it actually doubled what our cable inventory was at the time.

BEST THING ABOUT YOUR CITY

Having the beaches and mountains only an hour apart makes our area unique. And then there’s the weather, enough said.

ACTIVITIES

I enjoy spending time with my wife and adult children. We like to travel to locations with lots of sand. Walking and playing with my dog Bogie is always a stress reliever. I also like fine dining with a nice bottle of wine and with good company. Although, I don’t do it nearly enough, I enjoy playing golf with friends and my son.

WHY DO YOU ENJOY WORKING FOR WS

I have enjoyed watching both the company and the staff grow and do some pretty amazing work. This would also include our regular freelancers who are a big part of who we are. Being given the opportunity to develop myself for the better over the years has been priceless. Traveling and watching teams of people come together all over the world and do successful events has been fun to be a part of.
