WorldStage Launches 2nd Generation Sx3 Breakout Technology To Enhance Conference AV Support Package
WorldStage provided extensive AV support recently as part of a very large conference in Las Vegas. In addition to providing technology throughout the conference and Expo floor, WorldStage rolled out a major expansion of its Sx3 self-contained show systems, which were used in 65 breakout rooms. The conference featured five days of activities and was held at the Sands Expo Center and Venetian Congress facility located at The Venetian Resort Hotel in Las Vegas.
Marking the first expansion of its popular Sx3 self-contained show systems introduced in 2016, the Sx3 is ideal for breakout rooms where quality and productivity are critical to the event’s success. This all-in-one AV solution for both breakout and VIP rooms consists of a preconfigured system in a 30×30-inch case that transforms into an ergonomic control center. The included digital audio sound system, slim-line speakers, ultra-short throw laser projector and cable support package easily rolls in to any room utilizing only three road cases and sets-up quickly, dramatically reducing labor hours, costs and stress. The compact design and elegant styling of the components allow for a clean, clutter-free room with increased seating capacity and a state-of-the-art experience.
Sx3’s audio and video components, which include Shure Axient-D wireless mics and Yamaha TF1 digital mixers, can be pre-programmed and configured so technicians experience operational consistency and total ease of use when moving from room to room.
“By using Sx3 systems, our clients benefit from the standpoint of time, cost and labor savings,” says James Sarro, Senior Project Manager at WorldStage. “The systems are quick to install, cost effective to use and require less labor – we are able to deploy complete systems in breakout rooms in under an hour. And operators find the Sx3 systems to be remarkably user friendly, which allows them to run the rooms with minimal oversight or challenges.”
Perfect for large-scale conferences and events, the Sx3 helps to elevate the production value of the breakout rooms creating a more cohesive connection with the general session and other spaces. Onsite in Vegas, the Sands Expo Center’s Hall A was the primary conference space seating where WorldStage supplied three custom c3ONE LED videowalls: a center 60×20-foot wall and two 90×20-foot outboard walls. The stage displays were duplicated as delay screens using Christie projectors. WorldStage’s video control system also fed the production switch and widescreen feeds to three fully-produced Spotlight rooms in the nearby Venetian hotel.
On the Show floor, WorldStage provided a centerpiece dual-sided LED display, which showed informational content, advertisements as well as the closed-circuit feed from the general session. WorldStage also provided AV support to multiple theaters on the Show Floor as well as to a pair of partner theaters on the Expo Floor.
